What is the coverage of Liability?

Cleverea's Civil Liability coverage is responsible for protecting the insured from repairs and compensation that third parties may claim.

What does the Liability coverage cover?

What is not covered in the general exclusions of the Cleverea insurance?

As a policyholder the minimum age is 18, as drivers we accept all ages. Children under 15 years of age will only be covered, in closed traffic areas, such as parks or squares, and under the supervision and responsibility of an adult.

What is not covered in the general exclusions of the Cleverea insurance?

  • Claims intentionally caused by the insured, unless it has been caused in a state of need.
  • Participation in bets, challenges, races, contests and tests preparatory of the same.
  • Accidents occurred as a result of having infringed the regulatory provisions regarding requirements and number of people transported, weight or measure of things or animals that could be transported or the way to condition them. < / li>
  • Facts that are legally considered extraordinary and damages derived from civil or international war, tumultuous actions in meetings, demonstrations or strikes and facts declared by the Government as a national catastrophe or calamity.
  • < li> Damages caused when the VMP or insured bicycle has been stolen, understood as such, exclusively, the behaviors classified as robbery and theft of use in the Penal Code, without prejudice to the coverage ra that could correspond to the Insurance Compensation Consortium and the theft guarantee if contracted.
  • Accidents and damages that occur when the driver is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, toxins or narcotics , or if the driver has refused to submit to a test for narcotics or blood alcohol.
  • Damages suffered by a person other than the insured person mentioned in the Special Conditions, or the Drivers mentioned in the Appendix 'Drivers'.
  • Damages caused to the goods and objects transported by the VMP / Insured Bicycle.
  • Fines and related costs.
  • Accidents or losses caused or incurred while using a bicycle with a power greater than 250 W or with a maximum speed greater than 25 km / h, or while using a VMP with a maximum speed greater than 25 km / h.
